Watched the InuYasha movies last nite, and today saw the end of Samurai Champloo.
The InuYasha movies were pretty much as I expected: unrelated to hte main plot, no real character development, just another filler/sidestory. Saying that, they were some pretty good filler. I'd say if you are an InuYasha fan and haven't checked them out yet, they are well worth a look. If you aren't, or simply are now watching the InuYasha series to find out how it ends: stay clear, it'll be a waste of 2 hours a pop.
As for Champloo: I've said it before and I'll say it again: watch it. It's cowboy bebop meets Kenshin... the Kenshin OVAs that is. Superb fights, good plot right to the end, interesting characters, great animation and cool music. An allround win (other than the character design which for some reason doesn't sit right with me). I wish they could make another series as this is one that could go on for ages like InuYasha, without the annoyance of filler, unlike InuYasha.
